Petang jumaat masa melawat maksu izzi, rupa-rupanya terbongkarlah rahsia. Izzi dah booking bot dan hotel ke langkawi esok..join my family yang dah ada kat sana. Agaknya izzi perasan kot muka aku macam tak berapa seronok je tak boleh join..hehe..thank u hubby for a wonderful surprise!!langkawi..here we come!!!
12 DISEMBER 2009
Awal-awal pagi aku dah bangun. Izzi cakap bot pukul 9.30 pagi. So at least, pukul 8.00 pagi dah kena bertolak dari seberang jaya menuju ke jeti kuala kedah.
My family dah tunggu dalam setengah jam awal. Sementara tu, sempat lagi depa bershopping pinggan mangkuk kat Haji Ismail Group (HIG).Perut pon dah lapar, apa lagi first thing first mestilah nak isi perut yang dah menyanyi ni dulu. Tak banyak pilihan makanan kat jetty ni, so kami pi makan kat the one and only restoran mamak di sini.."restoran hameed"..tak ada nasik putih masa tu sebab awal lagi, so nak tak nak kena makan nasi beriyani ja..dah selesai, kira semua.."mai ai..rm99.00 cukup..awat tak seratus ja..hehe"..dont worry, achik's treat!!hehe..
CABLE CAR
Once you step on the island, the first thing that you have to consider other than hotel is how to move from one place to one place on the island. Of courese there have so many rental car here, mostly Malaysian made car Proton and Perodua. At first, my bros want to rent a China made car Chery-mpv but we'd too late and the only choice we had were two Toyota Vios car new model with metallic paint-wow!!We rent it for rm160 per day..kira oklah..because normally they double up the cost during school holiday.
Without wasting time, we headed to our fisrt destination, Langkawi Cable Car at Gunung MatChincang. The journey was only about 12km from Kuah town and we also drop by a few places before getting there. Going to Langkawi, you wont come back without the most popular gamat oil-or sewaktu dengannya; gamat balm, bedak sejuk gamat, minyak rambut gamat, gamat feminine hygiene and so on. Hermm, i forgot those kedai's name, but you can see lah all the way to ulu melaka there were many shops like this.hehe..
After shopping a few gamat oil and balm, again we drop by at tanjung Rhu, just to felt the sea water against our feet..hehe. The Kok Beach was near by, but we didnt have time. We continue driving another 10 minutes i thought, and we arrived there almost 2.00pm. My brother reminded us to pray jamak ta'khir coz we might be late waiting for the cable car.
After about half an hour waiting, they opened the gate and everyone was so exciting except my mother, pity mommy she a little bit 'gayat'.."ok mak..smile for the camera..cheezz.."
we stopped at the second station.. izzi, my tough young lil yana, uyun and me went down to the sky bridge at the middle of the pit..and wow..what enchanted view from the sky bridge...
chilled..the bridge is moving honey..haha it remind me of the song fatimah used to sing.."jambatan goyang goyang..ku takut..."
yeahhh..we're now at 750m from sea level..
BURNT RICE AND MAHSURI'S TOMB
Burnt Rice was a historical place where it said that the langkawi folks had burned the rice storage after they lost the fight with the Siamese. what a waste..better they make a rice cracker like japenese..rite?but nowadays it left only a plate of the burning rice they kept in a glass aquarium..hermm what to do Malaysia people was so jakun..never saw burnt rice..ape susah..bakar jelah sendiri kat rumah..ahakss..
done with little bit shopping (people did more shops than visited the rice here..hehe) we're planning to eat laksa langkawi nearby the airport..but with little een (aina fariha) was sooooo sleepy so we separated here. the black vios (drove by andak-including me n izzi ) went back to the resort and the silver vios headed to Mahsuri tomb's. poor andak..she's the one that so eager to visit the tomb..nothing there lah andak..dont worry u could come again with bro ejad..hihi..me?dont want to go lah..this my 3rd time to langkawi..the 1st n 2nd time i'd done visiting all the legendary stuff here..and also the Galeri Perdana..and yah..i did jungle track..flying fox..rafting and exploring the crystal cave underwater!!!that's about 3 years ago but i lost all the pics already..sayangnye!!!
A few moment before the sunset, me and izzi walked along the Cenang beach..feeling the seawater touching our feet..wow..i love doing this..but the kids..they love constructed the sand castle..hehe

from this activity, the boat driver will stopped a few minutes at the legendary hill- Dayang Bunting Hill and he will explained why they called the hill and the whole island as Dayang Bunting..hermm you can see that the hill was so resembled to 6-7 month pregnant lady..lying on her back..
the driver gave us about one hour to explore the island..we arrived about 9.20am..so by 10.20 am we've to left the island..we went down the track about 15 minutes and wow-this legendary lake of pregnant maiden was so so beautiful..and i felt like falling in love at the first sight..hermm..once you reached the lake.. that dont forget to swim or watered yourself with the lake water..it crystal clear and seem to be clean enough to drink..hehe..also being told by the elder folks, the infertile and childless women will be conceivable after bathing themselves in the lake..was it true?hermm..insya Allah..whatever happen or not happen after this..that's all from Allah the Almighty..have faith in Him..:)
